Privacy Policy

Maneiro ("we", "our") provides a clinical intelligence platform for eye care professionals. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Maneiro Chrome extension and web application.

What Maneiro Accesses

The Maneiro Chrome extension accesses the RevolutionEHR web application running in your browser to:

• Read clinical field values (visual acuity, IOP, refraction, exam findings) from the current patient encounter
• Inject AI-extracted values into RevEHR fields on your command
• Capture voice recordings for transcription during the exam

What Maneiro Does NOT Do

• We do not collect, store, or transmit patient-identifiable information (PHI) to any third party
• We do not track your browsing activity outside of RevolutionEHR
• We do not sell or share any data with advertisers or data brokers
• We do not use patient data to train AI models

Data Processing

Clinical text (exam findings, transcribed notes) is sent to Maneiro's secure servers hosted on AWS (us-east-2, Canada) for AI processing. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest. AI processing uses de-identified clinical text — patient names and health card numbers are not included in AI prompts.

Data Storage

Clinical documentation generated by Maneiro is stored in your clinic's Maneiro account on secure AWS infrastructure (RDS PostgreSQL, encrypted at rest). You maintain full ownership of your data and may request deletion at any time by contacting support@maneiro.ai.

Voice & Audio

When using the voice scribe feature, audio is transcribed in real time using Deepgram's API (deepgram.com). Audio is not stored after transcription. Deepgram's privacy policy is available at deepgram.com/privacy.

HIPAA Compliance

Maneiro is designed for HIPAA compliance. Our architecture ensures patient data stays on your clinic's secure servers. Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) are available upon request for covered entities and business associates.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of Maneiro after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
